Requirements:
  • Full GMC licence to practice in the UK
  • Relevant previous experience working in a similar position within Adult Psychiatry
  • Section 12 approval is essential

Duties:
  • Provide expert psychiatric assessment and treatment to adult patients with a wide range of mental health conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments and multidisciplinary input
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure holistic and person-centred care delivery
  • Offer consultation and support to primary care providers and community agencies involved in the care of adult patients with mental health needs
  • Engage in regular case reviews, team meetings, and clinical supervision sessions to ensure high-quality care and adherence to best practices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
