  • Job Type: Temporary Full-time

We are currently seeking an Administrative Support professional to provide efficient and effective administrative services to the Head of Department, Divisional Commander, and the Senior Management Team. The role requires a highly organised individual with excellent secretarial skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide general administrative assistance as directed by Departmental Senior Management.
  • Undertake secretarial and administrative support tasks including dictation, word processing, copying, and circulation of documents.
  • Manage diary time and coordinate the diaries of the Departmental Senior Management Team.
  • Handle telephone and personal enquiries with tact and diplomacy, responding to queries wherever possible.
  • Coordinate and manage the diaries of the management team as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Software Applications
  • Experience composing letters and memos, responding to routine correspondence, and demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, investigate problems, develop solutions, and take timely action to resolve them.
  • Experience dealing with the public and working in partnership with other departments and agencies.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and tight timescales within a busy environment.
