Position: SEN Administrator

Salary: £11.50-12ph

Location: Petersfield

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 8:15am to 3:30pm

There is the potential for this role to become a permanent role. You will need to have access to your own vehicle do to the location.

The client are flexible on hours so if you needed to do 9am to 3pm or 8:30am to 2:30pm for example, they can accommodate.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Communications:
    • Make phone calls to the local authority and other relevant parties regarding SEN matters.
    • Respond to emails in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accurate and clear communication.
  2. Appointment Scheduling:
    • Coordinate and schedule appointments with parents, social workers, and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Maintain an organised calendar
  3. Document Management:
    • Chase and organise reports related to SEN, ensuring they are complete and up-to-date.
    • Assist in the completion of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and other relevant documentation.
  4. Record-Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and organised records of all SEN-related communications, appointments, and documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality regulations.
  5. Team Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with the SEN team and other administrative staff to ensure smooth operations and effective support.
    • Working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership team and providing support where needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in a role involving SEN support or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Special Educational Needs processes and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

An Enhanced DBS will need to be completed to be successful in this role.
