Position: Administrative Manager

Location: Belsize Park, London (NW3)

Salary: £21.72 per hour

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract length: 3-4 months

The Administrative Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the school office. This position involves managing various administrative tasks, overseeing budgets, coordinating logistics, and acting as a point of reference for staff, parents, and students. The Admin Manager is responsible for maintaining efficient office operations and supporting the overall educational environment.

This role requires an in depth knowledge and understanding of external regulators of both the NHS - Quality Care Commission (CQC) and Department for Education (DFE) - Ofsted.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibile for all school HR administration and recruitment in conjunction with the Trust HR team. It is essential they have an in depth knowledge of safeguarding and safer recruitment within both and NHS and Education establishment.
  • Develop and manage the school’s budget, ensuring financial resources are allocated appropriately.
  • Monitor expenses, track financial transactions, and prepare reports for school leadership.
  • Will be responsible for assisting the Head teacher and Senior Leadership team with all necessary preparations for external regulator inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Address conflicts or issues as they arise, promoting a positive and supportive school environment.
  • Counsel students when needed.
  • Communicate with parents, regulatory bodies, and the public.
  • Act as a liaison between different stakeholders.
  • The nature of the school setting carries with it exposure on a day to day basis to highly confidential information, potentially distressing incidents, behaviourally challenging situations, frequent interruptions, distractions and on occasions, emergencies.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the school.
  • Implement actions that enhance the quality of education and overall school experience.

For this role you must be able to deal with incidents with empathy, tact and the highest level of confidentiality at all times.

Safeguarding and Chid Protection within the school is paramount and is everyone’s responsibility and therefore the post holder will be trained to Safeguarding Level 3 (every 2 years).
