We have an exciting opportunity to work within a prestigious university based in Central London.

Job Title: Temporary Admin Assistant

Start date: 8th April 2024

Pay rate: £16.39

Duration: 6 months

Work pattern: 4 days in the office - Fridays WFH

Job description:

  • Educated to degree level OR, educated to A level (or equivalent)
  • with 3 years+ office experience
  • A broad experience of administrative support
  • Experience of supporting events and/or course programmes
  • Ideally, someone who has experience of administrating / developing a website (using Contensis), if not then someone who has experience of maintaining websites using a program such as WordPress
  • Experience of working, and willingness to work, supportively, flexibly and effectively within a small administrative team
  • A high level of literacy and excellent grammar
  • Ability to draft documents and correspondence with accuracy, showing good presentational skills and an eye for detail
  • Sound organisational skills, an ability to manage a varied workload and a responsive, flexible attitude
  • Sound IT skills with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to deal tactfully, effectively and with discretion with staff at all levels and with students
