Evolve Training are seeking an enthusiastic and confident person to join their team as their new Administration Apprentice. You would join a family run company of over 30 years.  Evolve are based in Dyce but offer training all over Scotland.

This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, but also confidently to work on your own when needed. No experience is necessary, however they require someone that has good knowledge of Word, Excel and the ability to learn quickly.

They will be offering a SCQF Level 6 in Business and Administration, this usually takes up to 18 months to compete and will be fully funded.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming visitors to training school
  • Dealing with incoming calls in a professional manner
  • Filing and looking after a tidy office
  • Assisting and managing office supplies and inventory
  • Collecting feedback and collaborating it into spreadsheets
  • Engaging with delegates to ensure they get best experience in training school
  • Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents

Required skills:

  • IT literate and confident in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks
  • Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills

Salary:

£15,600 per year

Working hours:

This is a full-time, permanent job. Monday to Friday 7.40am – 4.15pm, 4pm on a Friday. 30-minute lunch and 2 x 10 minute breaks.

They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
