Admin Operative
Searching for a highly organised individual to join a reputable team based in Peterborough. This is a office based temporary to permanent role.
Under the direction of the Account Manager or nominated team lead, the Admin Operative will carry out the following tasks whilst promoting our clients values and one team culture with the client and other team members.
This role will also incorporate assisting with all Post Room duties as per below as sick and holiday cover or additional support when required.
Duties / Responsibilities Include:
- Monitor, update and allocate all jobs on the help desk within working hours.
- To oversee the ordering and delivery of clothing for site.
- Sort incoming post & parcels and log items where required.
- Prepare, frank and dispatch outgoing mail ready for Royal Mail/ Courier pickup.
- Organise off shore mail and packages as required.
- Sort and deliver mail including bulky mail, recorded, legal, special and courier items to all required locations.
- Prepare outgoing mail, special & recorded, DHL, Fed Ex and same day couriers
- Assist with Ad Hoc requests from Manager to support Building Operation
- Answer and direct phone calls.
- To undertake any task that is reasonably expected or asked of them by their line manage.
- Assist with Ad Hoc requests from Manager to support Building Operation.
- Keeping up to date with and analysing market trends.
- Prepare and present reports on the overall business development performance.
- Promoting the business.
Skills and Experience:
- Understanding customer needs, ensuring we are constantly in touch with what our customer wants, and service delivery in a timely manor
- Communication, needs to be clear and concise when communicating and can adapt to a given audience
- Accessibility and availability
- IT competence (in word excel, spreadsheets, web)
- Organisational skills
- Committed
- Advanced Administrative Skills
- Previous experience working within the Construction Industry are preferred but not essential
- Precise with good attention to detail
- Quick learner with a can do attitude
- Positive
HOURS:
- Hours - 40 Hours Per Week
- PAY - £11-12 P/H
