Location: Watton, IP25 6HP
Hours: 20 plus hours per week - Permanent

Our client is seeking a highly enthusiastic and motivated Activities Coordinator to meet the needs of their residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence. To help their residents to live the most rewarding, engaging and fulfilling lifestyle that they can whilst meeting their needs in terms of the Mind, Body, and Soul.

You will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of those you care for and help to improve their quality of life.

Job Role:

Reporting to our client’s Care Centre Manager the Activities Coordinator must effectively plan and run a weekly activity for their residents. They must always be innovative and enthusiastic and could think outside of the box. They must have the desire to work with some degree of autonomy in both the planning and execution of the activities.

Candidates Must Have:

  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with others at all levels.
  • Good forward planning and a methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to innovate.
  • Be able to work within a budget as set out by the Home Manager.


Desirable Attributes

  • Some knowledge of Dementia Care & Mental Health.
  • Some knowledge of working in a confidential setting.
