Acoustics Consultant

My client is a major multidisciplinary consultancy looking to recruit an Acoustics Consultant to work from their offices based in central London. As one of the UK's rapidly growing noise specialists in the engineering consultancy industry, projects are ranging from small scale residential developments through to mulitplex religious site in the Middle East.

You will be joining a team that provides services in research and design, consultancy and design, and construction monitoring.

Requirement for this role are-

* A minimum of 2 years working experience in Acoustics Consultancy.
* Degree qualification in Acoustics or closely related discipline.
* Membership of the Institute of Acoustics, preferably full membership.
* Full driving license.
* Excellent communication skills and high numeracy skills.
* Commercial awareness of market conditions surrounding acoustics.
* Up to knowledge of regulations and legislation for the acoustics sector.

Typical duties will be-

* Undertaking Noise surveys, modelling, and assessments.
* Mentoring junior staff
* Undertaking noise surveys.
* Project administration.
* Supporting senior staff.
* Writing reports.
* Liaising with clients.
