My client is an industry leader in mechanical and electrical engineering. They have offices across the UK and a global presence. They have a reputation for creating unique projects that prioritize sustainability and green initiatives. They have won multiple awards and maintain 12 offices throughout the UK.

If you are interested in architectural and building acoustics, then this is the perfect role for you. My client has completed projects in various sectors such as healthcare, education, residential, and large-scale projects.

Requirements

  • A BSc in Acoustics or a related field and/or the IOA Diploma, along with being Accredited in AMIOA/MIOA status.
  • Experience in planning and preparing reports for project applications and addressing conditions that may arise from assessments.
  • A proven track record of delivering projects alongside working with colleagues and clients throughout the life cycle of a development.

Duties

  • Offer expert guidance and remedial advice to clients to negate any technical issues.
  • Undertake noise and vibration assessments regularly to ensure that all building regulations are being met at each stage in line with British standards.
  • Make modifications to plans and designs to ensure that the project is to client specification while meeting statutory guidance.
