Accounts Senior:

This is an excellent opportunity to join an impressive top 50 UK accountancy practice.

The ideal candidate must have a positive, confident approach with a minimum of 3 years UK practice experience.

This is a permanent, full-time role offering hybrid and flexible working, in addition to excellent future career prospects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading a variety of interesting and complex accounts assignments across multiple sectors
  • Building long lasting client and colleague relationships
  • Ensuring assignments are completed to a high standard, on time and within budget
  • Preparing work papers, statutory accounts and management accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
  • Preparing corporation tax computations
  • Supervising, training and assisting junior team members

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA Qualified or finalist
  • Minimum 3 years UK practice experience
  • Experience of FRS102 1A is essential
  • Experience of the following could be an advantage
    • SRA’s, international accounts, consolidated accounts, charity accounts
  • University degree with a 2:1 or higher or 3 good A-level results (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills, specifically Excel; CCH, Sage and Xero would be an advantage
