THE OPPORTUNITY

An Accounts Senior position has arisen within the firm which offers responsibility for managing clients, reviewing work completed by junior staff and overseeing delivery of the firm's bespoke solutions.

As an Accounts Senior / Business Services Senior your role will involve:

• Working closely with SME clients , including owner-managed, family owned and entrepreneurial SME businesses
• Reviewing VAT / Bookkeeping and Quarterly Management Accounts prepared by Accounts / Bookkeeping team
• Preparing Monthly Management Accounts for growing SME clients
• Preparation of Year-end Accounts and Tax Computations
• Use of Xero and other online software packages on a daily basis

THE PERSON

You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:

• AAT Qualified ACCA / ACA Qualified/ Qualified by experience
• Background within Accountancy Practice (c. 5+ years)
• Experience of preparing Year-End Accounts and Tax Computations
• Experience of working with SME and Owner-Managed businesses
• Good working knowledge of Xero and possibly other online / cloud accounting software
