Salary: £42,500 - £46k + Great benefit package

Location: Portsmouth (Hybrid working available)

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-17.30pm

You will already have a background in practice, dealing with a variety of different clients and enjoy client engagement, and identifying opportunities to support clients to improve their profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Providing a premium support accounts service as an account’s senior.
• Conducting accounts work, inclusive of preparing accounts, self-assessments, business tax returns and VAT returns.
• Proactively maintaining current client relationships and establishing new client relationships.
• Providing weekly communication to managers in relation to delivery of assignments.
• Attending training courses and maintaining competence to meet the CPE requirements of the professional body.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

• ACCA or ACA qualified.
• Proven practical experience within an accountancy practice.
• Good knowledge of accountancy software packages.
• Great communication and organisation skills.
• Strong team player, ambitious and self-motivated.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and meet strict deadlines.
