 A leading accountancy practice based in Cheshire is looking for an Accounts Semi Senior. The company can offer career development and growth in a dynamic team to excel in areas of knowledge. You would be key in supporting the accounting team with ongoing guidance and mentoring.  This client will also support the individual to complete their ACCA qualification and offer study support.

Job Description for the Accounts Semi-Senior role:
  • Maintain clients’ financial records
  • Prepare and submit VAT Returns
  • Prepare tax calculations
  • Prepare self-assessment tax returns
  • Preparation of working papers and lead schedules
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements
  • Build client relationships and onboard clients
  • Submit company secretarial updates for businesses
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of business and personal tax to comply with legislative regulations
For the Accounts Semi Seniorrole, it would be good to see candidates with:
  • AAT Level 4 or part ACCA Qual
  • A strong communicator
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a team and on your own
  • A detail-conscious individual
  • Proactive approach and willing to support colleagues
This role is commutable from Crewe, Winsford, Congleton, Cheshire, Holmes Chapel,  Newcastle under Lyme, Keele, Stoke on Trent, North Staffordshire
 
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:15 am – 5:00 pm / Friday 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
Salary: £22,000 - £32,000 per annum
