Public Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an excellent Accounts Semi Senior opportunity with a progressive and forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Stockport.

The ideal candidate could be AAT Qualified and/ or ACA/ ACCA student working in general practice seeking a fantastic study package, flexibility around their exams, and a tailored career progression plan.

You will engage with a diverse client portfolio across various industries, with a particular emphasis on SMEs and OMBs, offering both accounting and tax services. Part-time also considered.

The Role:

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
Management accounts preparation
Preparation of tax computations (personal and corporate)
VAT Returns
Client bookkeeping
Dealing with HMRC/ client queries
Liaising with clients directly

You:

AAT Qualified and/ or ACA/ ACCA Student
Knowledge of cloud software desirable (Sage, Xero, Quickbooks)
Experience of working in practice is essential
Strong double entry bookkeeping skills
