Accounts Semi-Senior - About The Role

Joining the accounts team, you will work closely with the seniors and managers to complete various audit assignments in a timely and accurate manner. Completing various tasks and gaining varied experience, this position can lead to manager level within a few years. Responsibilities to include:

• Produce accounts for various clients including SMEs and LLPs
• Prepare audit files with reconciling schedules
• Liaise with clients to request information or raise queries
• Prepared draft tax computations
• Variance analysis
• Answer any manager queries on review of accounts, make corrections in a timely manner and learn from mistakes to avoid similar errors moving forward

The successful Accounts Semi-Senior will have:

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience within Accounts at a UK firm of accountants
• Be actively studying the ACA or ACCA with the view of finishing all of your exams
• A diligent work-ethic, thriving independently or as part of a larger team
• Effective communication skills and the ability to form long-lasting client relationships
• Keen attention to detail is essential
