Accounts Receivable Supervisor

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to oversee our finance team’s accounts receivable operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of sales invoices, managing pricing queries, and leading debt collection efforts across all three sites. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and a proven track record of team management.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of six accounts receivable specialists, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance, training, and support.
  • Guarantee uniform and timely raising of sales invoices across all sites, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Efficiently manage pricing queries from customers, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and accurately.
  • Regularly review and dispatch customer statements to facilitate timely payments.
  • Oversee the debt collection process, including follow-ups on overdue invoices, negotiating payment terms, and escalating collection efforts when necessary.
  • Handle customer claims and disputes professionally and efficiently, working with internal teams to resolve issues and minimise financial impact.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, proactively managing overdue accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer payments, credits, and adjustments.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on accounts receivable performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable.

  • Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
