Job Description: As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the accounts receivable ledger and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts
  • Generating and sending invoices to customers
  • Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving billing issues
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing
  • Monitoring aging reports and following up on overdue accounts
  • Assisting with month-end closing procedures and reporting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
