Accounts Receivable Assistant || Sheffield || £25,000 || 6 Month FTC

Ashley Kate are excited to be working with a leading laboratory equipment manufacturer in the Sheffield area providing a 6 month FTC Accounts Receivable Assistant role with the potential of being moved into a permanent position! Reporting into the Financial Controller, it is essential that you have a proven background in an accounts receivable position. You will be taking full responsibility for the operation of the sales ledger and provide additional support to the Finance Team. The office has easily accessible public transport routes for candidates based in Manchester and Sheffield via both train and bus. This role will also include excellent benefits including 7.5% employer pension contribution and an early finish on a Friday.

Responsibilities:

·Review aged receivables and chase debt

·Credit check companies and set credit limits for new customers

·Month end reconciliations of company accounts

·Liasing with home and overseas customers to resolve queries

·Support/cover for the finance team where necessary

About you:

·Previous knowledge and hands on experience in an accounts receivable role

·Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)

·Good verbal and written communication skills

·Ability to work well individually and as part of a team

·Working knowledge of MRP systems (not necessary)

·A professional approach and a "can do" attitude
