Accounts Receivable Administrator

£22,000 - £23,500 DOE

Our client, a prestigious South-West based manufacturing company, are looking to expand their finance team. They are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Administrator, to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.


As a vital member of the finance team, your primary responsibility will involve collecting, monitoring, and reporting on the company's finances.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Accounts Receivable function.
  • Handling Sales Ledger/Credit Control duties.
  • Resolving customer queries and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
  • Managing and reconciling customer accounts and payments.
  • Handling invoices and queries related to marketing contributions.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the database.
  • Conducting bank, control account, and credit card reconciliations for accounts receivable.
  • Processing refunds and adjustments when necessary.
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve finance-related issues.
  • Updating and maintaining the accounts receivable database accurately.

Candidate:

  • Previous experience of working in a similar position, ideally with a strong credit control background.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively with deadlines.
  • Motivated and well-organized.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in IT.
