Accounts Payable Specialist

£28,000 + Bonus up to £5k + Competitive Benefits

Chippenham / Hybrid / Flexible

I am recruiting an Accounts Payable Specialist to work for an award-winning company based in Chippenham. Reporting to the Team Leader and working in a friendly team, you will enjoy building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. About the job:

  • Scan and process invoices and staff expenses
  • Raise POs for invoices.
  • Match invoices with POs and liaise with the relevant departments regarding invoice queries.
  • Reconcile monthly supplier statements.
  • Update the purchase ledger database with supplier detail changes
  • Prepare and send the electronic BACS run daily.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure all payments due are correct and processed for payment on time.
  • Perform daily and monthly closing processes for accounts payables.

About you:

  • Previous accounts payable experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills
