Accounts Payable
Permanent and Full Time
Carmarthenshire
£24-28,000 per annum
This role represents an opportunity to take your AP skills to the next level. If you are currently in a purchase ledger clerk position and find yourself looking for a challenge, this could be it! You will be responsible for the Accounts Payable process in its entirety. What that means is that in addition to your standard day-to-day tasks of reconciling supplier statements, processing invoices, matching and batching (3 way match!) and making payments, you will be required to pitch in with some of the more exciting accounting tasks... especially at month end.
These will include;

  • Journals, Accruals and Prepayments
  • Ledger closure at end of month
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Assisting in the preparation of Monthly Management Accounting Packs
  • Stock control
  • Assisting in the preparation of the Annual Audit.

These are the duties which will take your CV beyond transactional financial processing and are essential should you have aspirations to take on a full accountant role in the future.

In order to be shortlisted for interview, you will need to be an experienced Accounts Payable professional, with experience in a similar role, or alternatively, an accounts assistant role with good exposure to the purchase ledger function.

For further information, please call Emma LEwis on ...... or apply by uploading a current and up-to-date copy of your CV.
