Advancing People - Recruitment Specialists are Recruiting for an Accounts Payable Executive for their client based in Bradford, Yorkshire.

As an Accounts Payable Executive you will be responsible for delivering pre-defined KPI's & SLA's for the effective servicing of all Purchase to Pay (P2P) activities and ensuring performance, control, and compliance of the P2P process. This role is responsible for delivering, as part of a team, a streamlined P2P process through continuous improvement and automation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the O2C & P2P Manager
  • Ensuring suppliers are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures and dealing with customer and supplier queries.
  • Contribute to ensuring the P2P processes are efficient, and compliant and have full knowledge of the process controls
  • Follow all P2P policies and ensure they are up to date and adhered to by all users.

Person Specification

  • Experience working in Accounts Payable (AP) or an understanding of Accounts Payable
  • numerical accurate
  • strong communication skills
  • Resilient nature
  • Good computer skills
  • Positive "can do" attitude

This is a full time position offering an annual salary of upto £25,500 - £26,000 + attractive company benefits!

The position is working from home / Hybrid - The successful applicant will be required to travel to Bradford 2 times a week
