Accounts Payable Controller - Based in Grays - £30,000 to £35,000 p.a + Benefits

Are you looking to join a growing business bucking the trend in an otherwise challenging market? Our client adds value to the local community and works with the majority of high-end businesses within their sector.

Reporting into a highly engaging Financial Controller, you will be joining a sociable team who are keen to add a new addition.

Due to the growth in workload in the recent months this process is likely to move swiftly.

Ideally you will have a construction background (or similar) and previous exposure to payroll procedures.

Strong communication skills are key as this role will involve building rapport with non-finance colleagues and getting involved with collecting vital information for Site Managers and Stakeholders to evaluate.

Some of the key duties include:

- Collating a high volume of stakeholder’s payments for operating regions.

- Reviewing and submitting CIS.

- Processing weekly and month end payroll.

- Running weekly and monthly supplier payments.
