Our blue-chip client is recruiting an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team on a temporary basis. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions related to accounts payable.
Your new role
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will receive, open, and accurately log invoices into the ledger along with liaising with relevant suppliers to address invoicing or payment queries. You will attach the correct documentation to invoices and reconcile purchase orders with received invoices. Post invoices and credit notes, ensuring they are coded correctly in the system. Prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations to maintain accurate records. Handle external and internal queries via phone and email promptly and professionally.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of processing purchase ledger invoices, along with good systems skills.
What you'll get in return
This is a temporary position for circa 6 months and will be a hybrid role: 2 - 3 days in the office rest remote.
