Accounts Payable Assistant

Meraki Talent is currently recruiting an Accounts Payable Assistant for one of our clients based in the Isle of Man. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the accounts payable function within the finance department.

Your key duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Processing vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching invoices with purchase orders and receipts
• Ensuring all invoices are coded correctly and entered into the accounting system in a timely manner
• Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies
• Assisting with the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual accounts payable reports
• Responding to vendor inquiries and resolving payment-related issues
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures as needed

Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
