Job

The role of Accounts Payable Specialist will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Processing and coding invoices daily
  • Obtaining approvals for invoices from various managers
  • Organising weekly multi-currency payments
  • Handling supplier queries and managing the accounts payable mailbox
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Setting up supplier direct debits
  • Managing urgent payment request process
  • Providing weekly payables data for cash flow forecasts
  • Attending weekly meetings with procurement
  • Processing staff expense forms
  • Updating procedures to improve business processes
  • Setting up new suppliers
  • Completing monthly VAT returns
  • Providing ad hoc reports to procurement

You

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • Experience in an accounts payable or similar role
  • Independent working and team collaboration skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Clear communication, both verbal and written
  • Commitment to successful team working
