Accounts Payable Assistant

Your new role
As an Accounts Payable Assistant you will be working within the East Derbyshire Branch, supporting the AP Manager to ensure work is done correctly and on time, gain authorisation for and pay invoices, supplier ledger reconciliation, matching supplier invoices with purchase order numbers, opening new accounts for suppliers ensuring payment terms are correct and all associated paperwork is kept up to date and associated tasks.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of using SAP or related software packages, previous experience and understanding of the management and maintenance of effective finance systems, excellent communication skills, strong IT skills including MS Office, strong attention to detail, good team worker and willingness to learn to become more effective in the role.
