Job Title: Accounts Manager

Location: Exeter

Your role; 

As an Account Manager, you will be acting as the primary point of contact for clients and building strong relationships with these assigned clients. You would be responsible for the entire customer lifecycle, from onboarding new clients to ensuring their satisfaction and driving ongoing business.

  • Developing and maintaining long-term, positive relationships with clients. This involves regular communication, understanding client needs, and exceeding expectations.

  • Reviewing the work of Accounts Assistants and also providing the necessary support or training.

  • Addressing client inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively in order to maintain satisfaction.

  • Completing annual accounts, bookkeeping, self-assessment tax, corporation tax, VAT, and other specialist areas of work.

Relevant skills and knowledge:

·Recent experience in a similar role

·Experience using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·Experience in a role where you have delivered client-focused solutions to customer needs.

·Strong verbal and written communication skills.

You will need to be ACA OR ACCA qualified, AAT Level 4 considered if qualified by experience. 

Account Managers need to be well-organised, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should also be data-driven and analytical to track client performance and identify growth opportunities.
