Eaton Syalon are recruiting for a talented Accounts Manager to join our client to manage a small team responsible for all aspects of transactional accounts activity including purchase and sales ledger. Reporting to our clients Head of Finance the role is ideally suited to a strong people manager with exceptional ledger experience.

Key responsibilities

• Team Management - including regular 121’s, workflow management and mentoring
• Purchase Ledger - Oversee all accounts payable activity including all month end reconciliation and reporting requirements
• Sales Ledger - oversee all billing and sales ledger activity as well as credit control
• Cash/Bank reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Reporting & analysis
• Process review to identify areas of improvement/implementation of new processes
• Project Management

This role is well suited to a strong Purchase Ledger or Sales Ledger manager with well developed people management skills. You will need an exceptional ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage conflicting priorities and sound accounting knowledge.
