Accounts Manager - Accountancy Practice
Reed Finance are partnered with a highly regarded and well-established accountancy practice in the recruitment for an Accounts Manager to join their existing team.
Initially this role will be for a minimum 6 month period, however could potentially be a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate if desired. The practice offers flexible hybrid working, usually on site 3 days pw in their offices on the outskirts of Brighton.
You will be working on a diverse portfolio of clients consisting of sole traders and SMEs of varying sizes and industries, working closely with the Directors and SLT of the firm.
As Accounts Manager, your key duties will include:
- Preparation of accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Preparing corporate and personal tax returns
- Advising clients on finances, taxes and their implications in a timely and concise manner
- Management accounting and reporting
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- A full ACA/ACCA qualification
- Substantial recent experience within an accountancy practice
- Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP, UK taxes and all associated compliance and reporting
