Position Overview:

Due to business success, this client are seeking a highly skilled and ACCA qualified Accountant to join them as an Accounts Director. As a key member of the firm, you will play a pivotal role in managing the accounts department, maintaining and developing client relationships, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the overall success of our practice. Working directly with high profile clients, you will have the opportunity to grow existing client business within the accounts department, develop new relationships, promote the firms reputation, and bring in new clients.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the management of a diverse portfolio of clients, providing exceptional client service and maintaining strong relationships.
Manage the entire accounts department and play an integral role in building existing and new business pipelines.
Oversee and review the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance-related documents.
Conduct regular financial reviews with clients, offering strategic advice to support their business objectives.
Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and offer proactive advice.
Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Requirements:
ACCA /ACA qualification with at least 2 years post qualified experience.
Proven experience in a client management role within a chartered accountancy practice is essential.
Proven experience in developing strong client relationships, building a business pipeline, and bring in new business.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Proactive and solution-focused approach to client challenges.
