Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for an Accounts Assistant to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Accounts Assistant our client is offering:

  • Up to £25,000 per annum DOE
  • Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM 
  • Permanent opportunity
  • Free parking

The role - Accounts Assistant:

  • Ensure all invoices are matched, correct and authorised prior to processing
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Liaising with suppliers via phone and email for resolution of queries, payment requests etc
  • Liaison with purchasing department to resolve queries
  • Update payments schedule and record all supplier contact in Sage/Excel
  • Prepare supplier payments for approval and prepare BACS payment files
  • Posting purchase invoices to ledger
  • Post and allocate payments to supplier accounts in Sage

What our client is looking for in aAccounts Assistant:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role- ESSENTIAL
  • Experience in Sage Line 50 or similar (ideally with purchase order processing)- ESSENTIAL
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive and flexible forward thinking attitude
