You will be working for a construction business in Portsmouth who are looking to increase their headcount through the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant.
Your new role

  • Set up of subcontractors on Sage.
  • Input of invoices/applications through Sage
  • Ability to spot potential errors / queries during the input process
  • Set up payless notices for each valuation/invoice received
  • Certification of Invoices and Applications
  • Monthly statement reconciliations
  • Subcontractor payment preparation and reports.
  • Monthly CIS return

What you'll need to succeed

  • Full right-to-work in the UK, with prior experience working within a UK finance team
  • Experience working within the construction industry
  • Good understanding of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
  • Knowledge of domestic reverse-charge VAT (preferable)
  • Competent with computerised accounting systems
  • MS Office : Excel, Word & Outlook
