Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant required for this established firm of Chartered Accountants and Advisers in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant or bookkeeper to gain exposure to a wide range of clients, and work towards ACCA qualification with study support, if of interest.

This role sits within a friendly team of accountants at all stages of their careers, and has responsibility for a range of bookkeeping and accounting duties for an extremely varied client portfolio. The firm have an excellent reputation for training and developing multi-skilled advisors and prioritising exceptional client service. As such, you will also gain involvement in supporting new accounts trainees in their own development and supporting your clients with changes to accounting requirements and software.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience of bookkeeping duties and preparing VAT returns gained within a reputable accounting firm. Annual accounts preparation experience would be advantageous, however not essential provided you demonstrate a keen willingness to learn. Sage 50 experience is also desirable.
