FRS are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a reputable SME based in Leamington Spa. The business can offer a basic salary up to £30k plus hybrid working (2 days per week working from home).

Suitable candidates will have relevant experience within a similar Accounts Assistant role, with knowledge & experience of working on both Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger, supporting month-end processes & assisting with Credit Control. It would be an advantage if you are AAT Qualified or have some AAT Qualifications although candidates who are qualified by experience will of course still be reviewed!

The job spec is noted below with interviews taking place W/C 22nd April!

Duties Will Include

  • Processing / raising purchase orders & distributing them then posting onto the relevant systems
  • Resolving invoice queries from customers & suppliers
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts / statements
  • Assist with the closing of sales and purchase ledgers at month end
  • Investigating and resolving queries at month end
  • Assist in month end journal postings for the management accounts, including accruals and prepayments, fixed assets and payroll
  • Review financial exports to ensure smooth posting between systems
  • Adhoc reporting & analysis as requested by the Finance Manager
