RG Consultancy are working with an established, growing company in Runcorn who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team.

Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, the Accounts Assistant role would involve:

  • Processing accounts payable invoices
  • Prepare the payment runs for authorisation
  • Posting all payments and bank receipts onto accounting system
  • Allocate receipts on customer accounts
  • Credit control: chasing payments via email and telephone, sending monthly customer statements, escalate invoice queries to relevant team, aged debt reports

This role is ideal for someone looking for a varied role within a structured accounts team where you will be able to learn and develop also. Experience in an Accounts Assistant role with a focus on accounts payable/purchase ledger would be an advantage.
