Accounts Assistant | 3 months Temp to Perm |  West Manchester | Hybrid | £28,000

Job Overview:

Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a high performing fast fashion business in West Manchester who are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant into the team on a temp to perm basis. This role is a fast paced, stand-alone role and is excellent for future exposure. The business is looking for candidates who have a minimum of 1-2 years in Accounts.

Salary: £28,000

Benefits: Flexible start and finish times, hybrid

Location: Trafford Park, free parking

Main Duties:
  • Processing of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable transactions
  • Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements  and cash flow statements
  • Ensure compliance is aligned with the relevant laws & regulations.
  • Evaluate and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
  • Contact customers to follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Set and adjust credit limits in accordance with company policies.
  • Monthly reconciliation of receipt platforms to Sage 200.
  • Aged debtors’ reconciliation at month end in line with deadlines.
  • Assist with budgeting & forecasting
  • Assisting with month end and year end reporting.
  • Adhoc cover across the finance admin functions.


Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years in a similar Accounting role
  • Ideally have an understanding of QuickBooks or Xero
  • Sharp eye for detail & accuracy
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • With this being a stand-alone role, it will require the ability to work independently and manage time effectively, with exceptional organisational skills
