Hays are working with a small and established Accountants who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team based in Telford

Your new role
You will be working in a small team and taking responsibility for your own set of accounts and producing the accounts to trial balance

What you'll need to succeed
If you have worked within an Accountancy Practice that would be an advantage but my client will consider candidates from Industry who are keen to move into practice.
You should have strong accounting systems experience and be quick to pick up new systems. You should be keen to learn, have excellent communication skills to enable you to liaise effective with the clients and you should be able to work on your own initiative

What you'll get in return
This is a great opportunity for someone already in practice to progress or an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant from Industry to move into practice. The company work 9am- 5pm in the office Monday to Friday, offer 25 days holiday + bank holidays and free parking. You will be working within a supportive team who can offer training and study support, if desired
