Accounts Assistant
Our client has presented a dynamic and exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their small and close-knit team in Glasgow. This role will include a variety of responsibilities in accounts and tax returns preparation with the opportunity to work closely with clients. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual accounts for limited companies, LLP’s, and partnerships.
- Submitting VAT returns for a variety of clients
- Establishing a professional and confident working relationship with clients, dealing with telephone/email enquiries timeously, escalating queries as appropriate
Profile:
- Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience within an Accounts role
- Strong IT skills
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
