Accounts Assistant

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Rotherham area as they look to recruit an Accounts Assistant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Financial Controller this is a varied role where the successful candidate will be required to support the finance team with transactional finance duties.

Responsibilities:

• Daily customer invoicing
• Daily bank postings
• Posting of supplier invoices
• Set up of new customers / suppliers
• Support the month end process.
• Assistance with the annual audit
• Resolving customer / supplier payment queries
• Credit Card / Expenses postings
• Day to day support / cover of the finance function

Person specification:

• Ideally AAT qualified or study towards AAT qualification
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong analytical skills 
• Problem solving skills
