Responsibilities:

  • Bank Reconciliation: Regularly matching bank statements with the company's accounting records to identify and rectify any discrepancies.

  • Administrative Duties: This can encompass answering phones and emails, scheduling appointments, and maintaining filing systems.

  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software is a plus, such as QuickBooks or Xero.

  • Assisting with payroll processing

  • Tax preparation tasks

  • Liaising with clients

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly spreadsheets

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:

  • Be working towards your AAT qualification, whether this be Level 2, 3, or 4.
