Role Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing and delivering accounts preparation services for our client portfolio, focusing on Owner Managed Businesses. Key duties include:
  • Producing accounts working files and summaries in line with standards.
  • Preparing VAT returns for clients across various industries.
  • Representing the firm professionally in client and external professional dealings.
  • Engaging in continuous training and development to maintain technical skills.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has experience in financial reporting for sole traders and limited companies.
  • Is proficient or has familiarity with accounting software such as Iris, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Holds an AAT qualification (part-qualified may be considered based on experience).
