Description

Accounts Assistant

  • Ensure all employee expenses are checked, processed and posted to SAGE.
  • Ensure corporate credit card statements are sent to the relevant employee
  • Carry out bank reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Contribute to the improvement of financial procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the accounting and finance team

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • An academic background in accounting, finance or related field
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • An ability to work effectively in a team
