A newly acquired Accounts Practice is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to bolster their team. This part time role will include all aspects of purchase, sales and nominal ledger, reconciliations, VAT returns and preparing client's accounts to trial balance. Applicants must be able to adapt to changing deadlines and possess accuracy and a methodical approach.

THE ROLE
Part time (3 days), office based.
To work within a welcoming team processing purchase, sales and nominal ledgers, bank reconciliations, VAT returns and preparation of accounts to trial balance.
Experience of CIS would be an advantage.
Advanced IT literacy including Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, MS Word & Excel.
Identify, investigate and resolve all client account queries.
Experience within a Practice environment is preferred though not essential.

THE CANDIDATE
Must have the ability to processes purchase, sales and nominal ledgers, reconciliations, VAT returns and accounts to trial balance.
Able to remain calm, focused and accurate whilst striving towards deadlines.
Detail orientated approach when processing transactional accounts for clients.
Confident and competent with IT systems inc. Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, MS Office.

BENEFITS:
Salary: £26,000 (pro rata)
