Page Personnel is supporting a highly reputable business based in central Southampton who is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their accountancy team on an ongoing temporary basis to support with increased work load. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a varied transactional finance skillset.

Our client is a highly reputable business based in Central Southampton. Due to an increased workload and internal projects, they need support with the day to day transactional duties. They are based in a highly accessible part of the city either via public transport or commuting in.
Description
As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Processing, coding and matching invoices
- Raising invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Handling petty cash
- Bank reconciliations
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Preparing the payment runs
- Other adhoc duties requested by the Finance Manager
Profile
In order to be considered for the Accounts Assistant role, you must:
- Have previously worked in a transactional finance role and be able to demonstrate this
- Be immediately available or on short notice
- Be able to work in a team
- Be able to adapt and multi task
- Be able to work within a fast paced environment
