August Clarke are working with a well established SME business in their search for an Accounts Assistant to join their Salisbury office on a permanent full time basis. Working alongside the Finance Manager providing accurate accounting assistance you will have an opportunity to learn new skills and undertake a key role as part of friendly team.

Duties will include;

  • Timely and accurate processing of invoices using Sage Line 50.
  • Preparation of proforma invoices
  • Credit control to minimise overdue aged debtor accounts.
  • Allocation of payments
  • Processing statement runs and providing copy invoices as required.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and customers.

Experience Required:

  • Ability to work proactively as part of a small team.
  • GCSE English and Maths, C/4 or above.
  • AAT studier or equivalent would be desirable
  • Experience within a financial or accounting role.

Due to the location of the office the successful candidate will require their own transport. The company is located on the Old Sarum side of Salisbury, between the towns of Salisbury and Amesbury.
