A luxury property company, with a growing portfolio of commercial buildings across Central London, are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join its expanding team.

Based in their lovely Head Office in the West End of London and reporting into the Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations.

The Accounts Assistant will:

  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accounted for
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all incoming invoices are recorded in the accounting system, ensuring that invoices were paid on time and maintaining good business relationships with suppliers
  • Prepare invoices, sending to clients and ensuring they are paid on time, chasing overdue payments
  • Raise payments on the bank account ready to be released on due date
  • Ensure compliance with accounts principles and relevant regulations

The ideal Accounts Assistant will:

  • Have 1-2 years within Accounts
  • Have the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ideally have experience in Sage 50 (this is not essential if have knowledge of a different system)
  • Have a great knowledge of excel
