Accounts Assistant, Harrogate, Salary up to £28K DOE plus study support

Are you an Accounts Assistant looking to work for a friendly progressive company?

The role will require you to work with and support the Finance Manager and Finance team with day-to-day finance tasks. The role also involves liasing with internal teams and external customers.

• Self-motivated and strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities:
• Production of monthly sales invoices and email out promptly to customers.
• Daily bank postings & reconciliation.
• Sending monthly statements of account to customers; chasing up outstanding debts and managing the sales ledgers.
• Raising recharges and other ad hoc sales invoices.
• Working closely with the purchase ledger team to ensure correct allocation of costs.
• Continuously review accounts systems & processes for weaknesses and seek / suggest potential improvements.
• Develop an understanding of the business by developing strong working relationships with sites & colleagues.
• Checking & processing staff credit card submissions.
• Undertake any routine day to day tasks that are required by the Finance function.
