About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Accounts Assistant to join our Honley-based practice on a full-time basis. Our dedicated team is committed to providing tailored solutions that empower our clients to thrive in today's dynamic business landscape.

The ideal candidate will possess AAT experience and a proven track record in handling year-end accounts for both Limited companies and sole traders, along with proficiency in Corporation Tax returns, Self-Assessment Tax returns, VAT returns, and management reporting. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of Limited company and sole trader accounts.
• Management of business and Self-Assessment Tax filings.
• Completion and submission of VAT returns.
• Client liaison and production of management reports.
• Conducting bank reconciliations and balancing sheet items.
• Proficiency in bookkeeping tasks.

About You:

• AAT/or working towards AAT qualification.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with cloud accounting products, particularly Xero (training provided).
